Dear Mr
Gillespie,
I'm writing to inquire about the findings of the site visit to
the above address due to have taken place on 2nd September.
The barriers are
still very much in evidence.
Looking
forward to hearing from you

Thank
you for your email.
I did
read your previous email and placed in on your case. I intended to reply to your
concerns following a site visit to the property.
The
site visit is due to be carried out by 2nd September. Following the
visit I will advise you what further action we intend to
take.

Dear Mr Gillespie
I'm resending my
email of 5th August as you were out of the office and have not acknowledged
receipt of it.
I'd be grateful if you would inform me as to when the site
visit is / was to take place and request you
check on the issues
raised in my previous email; namely the makeshift barriers (without planning
consent) and the tree trimming.
FYI There are people on the terrace again
today seriously compromising my privacy and without any right to do so. It is
very dis-empowering and frustrating to feel no one is enforcing basic planning
laws to our detriment.
Looking
forward to hearing from you,
Joanna
Briggs

Dear
Sir,
I'm writing in
response to the letter of 31/7/13 from your department ref RS/PE/EN13. I am
grateful that an inspector will be visiting the site and I'd like to summarise
our observations as made verbally to Hugh Miller of your planning
department.
I
am enclosing photographic evidence that the illegal roof terrace is being used
by the owner.
He has had illegal
barriers up for sometime and has garden furniture and plants there. He has also
been seen sitting there with at least one other person.
Last Sunday he also
trimmed the new growth (since the extreme lopping he carried out before)
exposing our view of him and vice versa. I understand as a conservation area he
should have informed you of this and that indeed his new planning consent was
agreed without Tom Little of your Tree Section being
informed.
Section We
objected to the new planning works on the basis that he has not complied with
previous planning permission, but to no avail.
We would request
that you insist he installs 'Juliet balcony' (as of your instructions in 2008)
and desists from lowering the height of the trees at the foot of the garden so
that our privacy is not compromised.
Yours
Sincerely,
Joanna and Anthony
Briggs
Looking
forward to hearing from you
